Major Responsibilities: Provides subject matter expertise as well as high-level professional and analytical expertise to the National RF organization. Representative duties include: develop capacity models for short, medium, and long range planning; document assumptions and methods so results will be consistent over time; report data and summarize analyses and results for all levels of management; guide the creation of tools to support company objectives and critical needs; provide support to the markets on capacity related questions and issues; analysis of capacity statistics to create specific resolution recommendations for the field; trial new methods for network capacity improvement; and serve as an RF capacity expert on cross-functional teams.

This position will require in depth understanding of CDMA 1X and EVDO networks. Detailed knowledge of the technologies, capacity drivers, data, and parameters for various OEM vendors is required. Experience gathering large quantities of data from multiple sources, resolving irregularities, analyzing, and reporting are highly desired. Experience managing complicated analyses, documenting methods and data sources, error checking, and streamlining and automating processes is highly desired. Understanding of CDMA & EVDO equipment and RF hardware such as combiners, antennas and receivers is necessary. Knowledge of existing Sprint Nextel data sources is helpful. This position will require managing complex projects working in a team environment and other related organizations within the company.

Minimum Qualifications: (Job related skills, experience, and education): Four year college degree in EE or related field or equivalent experience. Seven years of experience in the wireless telecommunication industry. Expert in Microsoft Excel and proficient in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
