full time Project Coordinator-Bilingual

Accountability/Position Summary

Responsible to assist and support Project Managers in delivery of large complex projects, as well as, independently lead smaller projects as defined by the project risk and complexity.

Professionally and proactively manage activities and processes relating to the implementation of Allstream solutions and connectivity services.

Key Responsibilities

• Participation in project coordination, project communications, and expediting project related activities.
• Perform and/or assist in budgeting; scheduling, resource planning; risk assessment & risk management, meeting facilitation, financial status reporting; preparation for project presentation such as charts & graphs.
• Track project progress through maintenance of critical daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• To effectively manage projects, processes, implementation strategies and activation requests in order to provide superior competitive business solutions, improved service activation efficiencies and increased quality of service.
• Work with and support cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
• Clients advocate to exceed customer expectations.

• Ability to effectively balance multiple job duties and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated capacity to think proactively to mitigate the risk of roadblocks and problems.
• High working competency of MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS-Project
• Proven people management skills
• Analyzes efficiency of existing and available tools and approaches and recommends improvements

Other Skills/Competencies/Attributes

2 yrs or more experience in one or more of the following:
• Project coordination or equivalent role
• Knowledge of Allstream solutions and connectivity services
• Telecommunications and business operations
• Working knowledge of standard project management methodology, practices, and procedures (as defined by PMI).
• ISO and ITIL knowledge would be an asset
