Revenue Assurance Analyst

Accountability/Position Summary
The Revenue Assurance Analyst handles administration of month-end revenue recognition issues with Branch Operations. Assist Controller with month-end revenue recognition processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of all installation invoices for all branches
• Verification of customer information and leasing company requirements
• Processing and verification of signed Delivery & Cutover certificates
• Preparation of edit lists and downloading of invoices to the A/R
• Coding, batching & keying in all credit notes to the A/R, handling all issues regarding credits and re-billing
• Verifying shipment and items delivery and other revenue recognition issues
• Preparation of Broker Invoices & Client Deposit Invoices
• Working with branch Operations re month-end revenue recognition
• Preparation of Revenue Recognition Reports, Invoices Sent Report, Orders not recognized reports (to the Controller) and other relevant communication from time to time.
• Filing
Specific Functional/Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Intermediate Accounting skills
• A comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Excellent knowledge of ASAP and OLOG system
• Excellent and accurate data entry skills
• Knowledge of the Telecommunications industry
Other Skills/Competencies/Attributes
• Proven customer service and conflict management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Flexible-able to deal with major events, conflicting priorities, customer escalations
• Team player able to work with internal and external groups
• Innovative and able to work in a fast paced environment with constantly changing conditions
• Strong time management skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines as required
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Education & Certification:
• Post Secondary Education
Experience:
• 2-3 years accounting experience an asset
