Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness Business Partner

Accountability/Position Summary
Accountable for establishing and championing Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness strategies and programs that reflect the dynamic needs of our business. Optimize MTS Allstream core people processes to increase employee and organizational performance by providing innovative and change leadership expertise to support key business changes that drive new OE initiatives and solutions such as employee and values assessment surveys.
Key Responsibilities
• Champion corporate leadership and Organizational Effectiveness programs and initiatives aligned to the business strategies and requirements that drive culture and ensures achievement of business objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with Leaders and HR Business Partners on the implementation of these programs.
• Project manage and implement employee engagement programs and other Organizaitonal Effectiveness initiatives, such as employee survey, culture assessments, etc. Develop the communication and implementation of identified solutions in collaboration with the HR team and develop the necessary action plans on corporate issues and findings.
• Ongoing support of the Performance Management application
• Work jointly with business partners to identify the current and future workforce skill gaps to and identify solutions that will meet requirements to address workforce needs continuously.
• Champion and implement Leadership & OE measures and reports that capture effectiveness of the Leadership and OE programs and initiatives.
Specific Functional/Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Strong computer skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
• Formal Project Management skills an asset.
• Documentation development experience an asset.
• Strong analytical skills

• Solid facilitation, training and coaching skills.
• Proven Problem Solving Skills.
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
• Proven negotiation/ influencing skills.
• Experience in dealing with all levels of the organization up to senior management level.
• Self starter – can function independently.
• Solidly demonstrates our MTS Allstream corporate values of commitment, empathy, passion and courage.
Education & Certification:
• Undergraduate University degree or equivalent.
• Formal HR designation or certificate an asset or working towards a certification.
• Adult education certification an asset.
• Equivalent demonstration of learning capabilities and development of HR related knowledge.
Experience:
• HR Generalist experience an asset or understanding of the key HR components.
