Accountability/Position Summary

Accountable for providing Allstream sales force with the timely, accurate and cost effective customer quotations for non standard requests and Managed Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Timeliness: Meet or exceed the defined SLA (Service Level Agreement) for the Non Standard Pricing process
• Accuracy: Analysis of pricing requests must be done consistently and should be based on sound business judgment.
• Value add: Work directly with Sales to develop responsive and customer sensitive financial solutions
• Work with sales and cross functional teams to develop high quality customer quotations in a timely manner using facts, established processes and costing principles, ensuring an efficient use of resources
• Perform financial analysis on all non-standard customer opportunities and provide alternate solution and pricing recommendations and profitability analysis quickly and accurately
• Proactively manage customer opportunities in assigned mailboxes making sure that end-to-end NSR and Managed Services quotation service-level objectives are met or exceeded
• Assist with prioritizing Non Standard Request (NSR) and Managed Services quotation escalations in order to meet Sales and customer expectations
• Identify opportunities and suggest realistic solutions for improved NSR and Managed Services quotation processes
• To provide leadership in the improvement of the tools used in Managed Services quotation processes

Specific Functional/Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS-Excel and financial modeling
• Strong Team player –ability to work together with various departments in order to develop the most competitive and cost effective solutions
• Strong business acumen for various costing and pricing impacts on a business case
• Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze data and provide information and recommendations to management based on thorough analysis and modeling

Education & Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in business

Experience:
• Minimum 5 years working experience with at least two years experience in working with financial models
• Two or more years of recent telecommunications experience in a telecommunications service provider environment is an asset
