Associate Director – Recruitment

The Associate Director- Recruitment is responsible for sourcing and hiring qualified, diverse candidates for the Business Markets organization. The ideal candidate must have the ability to develop strong communication channels with internal clients. In addition, they must be committed to diversity and demonstrate resourcefulness to attract qualified candidates from many different sources. The Associate Director- Recruitment provides World Class Customer Service to applicants and internal clients by showing initiative, follow up and the highest degree of professionalism.
Your accountabilities will be:
•Develop best in class sourcing strategies and recruitment services
Provide creative and innovative ideas for sourcing top quality candidates
• Search recruitment databases, screen and interview potential candidates
• Using behavioural interviewing techniques conduct interviews; provide support and counsel to hiring managers throughout the interviewing process.
• Manage the job offer process, including employment checks, offer letter preparation and any additional due diligence checks as well as the completion of accurate business cases for external hires including their submission for approval and on-line generation of external hire approval number for SAP purposes.
• Identify barriers to recruitment and develop programs to address.
• Manage effective vendor/agency management relationships and processes when necessary
• Ensure that recruitment and selection activities are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures, specifically with regard to bilingualism, internal posting and Bell People First policy.
• Using on-line administrative tools, ensure the tracking and monitoring of recruitment performance benchmarks related to cost, time to hire, quality and sourcing of candidate.
• Participate in recruitment team projects to continuously improve recruitment service to Enterprise and ensure best in class practices are being used.
• Provide leadership and developmental guidance to the Staffing Solutions Manager (CP2).
• Champion and market the value added provided by the Enterprise recruitment centre to internal stakeholders and the broader Bell community in the areas of cost and time savings and quality of hire.
Your qualifications/ competencies are:
• Bilingualism (essential for this position)
• University degree or related College certification, (specializing in HR)
• Minimum 3 – 5 years Recruitment experience for professional and technical positions
• Good technical knowledge of the ICT / Web consulting industry and successful ICT recruitment industry experience
• Excellent client service orientation
• Ability to establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.
• Excellent client service orientation
• Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced and time-critical environment
• Strong detail orientation is required
• Demonstrated strong ability for internet search capabilities
• Ability to work independently
Assets for this position are:
• CHRP designation or working toward
• Experience providing consultative recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity
• Previous experience recruiting for sales and engineering resources is strongly preferred
