Product Manager - Troubleshooting tools & enablers
at Mobistar in Brussel, Belgium
Description
The Product Manager develops and leads Products & Services (P&S), enablers or commercial solutions end-to-end from opportunity identification to product launch and then in-life management based on priorities set by the Products & Services Marketing roadmap, business cases and scope boundaries set by his/her management.
This Product Manager open position will focus firstly on the assessment and development (with partners) of enablers (softwares) being used by front and back offices to troubleshoot Mobistar products (like ADSL service, etc) in order to maximize first contact resolution. The function will then evolve toward the ownership of other products or enablers like IVRs, Web tools, e-Invoice, etc..
As a Product Manager you will:
- Develop and update your P&S and commercial solutions roadmap, sustaining marketing plans and the company’s objectives in terms of product P&L and customer experience.
- Develop and manage relations with the partners related to his scope of activities.
- Deliver operational roadmaps on a 12 months and monthly basis.
- Propose yearly budget framework aggregating all relevant CAPEX and OPEX elements (P&L view on his/her P&S).
- Deliver new Products & Services and commercial solutions with end-to-end responsibility from opportunity identification to product launch.
o Work with Marketing and peer Product experts to understand the business requirements
o Define the Service Definition Sheet, describing business case, requirements, risk management plan, project timeline, budget, issues and assumptions
o Ensure the delivery is realistically planned, pro-actively managed and accurately reported
o Ensure consistency, alignment and compliance with the local and group project management processes
- Perform In-life management of existing Products & Services or commercial solutions:
o Manage a commercial and quality performance (KPI) dashboard
o Maintain awareness of markets trends (technology and supplier evolutions, customers expectations, distribution behaviour, benchmarking with other operators inside and outside the group and Belgium) in order to propose improvements to P&S.
o Maintain training, sales argumentation and communication message around the P&S or commercial solutions
You will interact with Orange Group peers for his/her P&S (best practise sharing, monthly reporting due to the group, etc).
Your Profile
- You have a university degree (in a commercial section or technical school or equivalent experience).
- You have around 5 years experience in Product Development & Product Management within Telecom and/or IT.
- Telecom/IT Products & Services Marketing or equivalent is an asset.
- Knowledge of ADSL technologies and modems is a plus.
- You are computer literate – MS Office – MS Project with Project Management skills.
- You are stress resistant.
- You are persuasive and have excellent communication skills.
- You are a team player with positive impact on others.
- You are fluent in French/Dutch and English.
