about the role
Perform technical testing of applications in accordance with end-user requirements while implementing best practices to ensure the integrity and quality of the services and applications.
Analyse project and application/product requirements
Create Test Plan and Test Cases/Test Report
Execute and verify Test Case(s)
Provide support during User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
Develop expertise on a specific application/tools
Use defect tracking system and follow defect life cycle
Design and implement functional/integration/regression/performance/load testing
about you
Desired technical skills/knowledge:
Good Linux/Unix knowledge with minimum 2 year’s hands on experience
Good SQL knowledge with Minimum 1 year’s hands on experience, (Basic admin in Oracle will be preferred)
Good Knowledge in web application applications like weblogic, websphere, Tomcat etc.
Good knowledge about different testing areas e.g webservice.
Experience in Test Plan Development and Execution (in Software Development or Software Testing Industry) and Testing Tools e.g. Quality Center will be preferred.
Efficiency and ability to follow processes
