Job Function Support QUALCOMM MEMS Technologies in the legal department. Provide contract administration of various agreements and legal documents. Plan and implement effective strategies to better maintain and administer legal documents. Review, negotiate, and draft various types of legal documents including services agreement, supply agreements, equipment purchase agreements, procurement-related agreements, licensing and technology development agreements, purchase orders, sales agreements and marketing agreements. Duties also include analyzing, negotiating and explaining complex legal issues and interfacing with various internal functional groups (e.g., finance, engineering, product management, patents, procurement, facilities, etc.) and maintaining records in a contract management database.
Skills/Experience Strong working knowledge of legal and some technical terminology and contract provisions required. Excellent reading, writing and communication skills. Demonstrated contract drafting and negotiation skills. Strong customer service skill set including ability to interact with senior management and present information in a clear and concise format. Able to work independently. Four plus years in Contracts Administration or in-house legal experience. Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, proficiency on PC with web-based applications, and with general office automation tools including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities Working knowledge of Contract Management related software a plus.
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal certification and/or Contract Management related certification a plus.
